This is a photo from 1981. We had been camping for a week and hadn't taken showers for as many days. It was a long week, but we really enjoyed the experience of seeing something so grand!

Process
A solid paper from the new APP Lateritious was used as the foundation of the page. The postcard of the Grand Canyon was clipped to a fotoblendz mask and duplicated with the blending mode changed to soft light. After trying frames I decided to extract the image of my children and me. I added a custom shadow to give some depth. Several transfers from the new kit were layered behind the postcard and at the bottom of the page. I moved things around for a day and decided that it was too large. I merged all the layers together and resized the page. A solid paper from the kit was layered over the merged layers, a square was cut of the middle (creating a mat). A custom shadow was added to give some depth. Word art, stitches, a brushes and dimensional elements were added to the frame to complete the page.
