Fairyland Canyon at Bryce National Park is so magnificent and so overwhelmingly beautiful that it seemed that the only way I could get my head around a layout using my panorama photo was to make things small and subtleI chose Artsy Paper #3 to kick it off. Likewise I dialed down the intensity of the frame by duplicating it on screen mode. It's hard to see in the for-web size, but there's a photo I snapped of the trail sign to the immediate left of the framed photo. I used screen blending mode to push it into the background and then layered in overlay # 3 from the Artplay Palette to suggest wood grain. Because I am in a rush to finish off this album before our new travels begin, I opened the Artsy Template and dragged in selected layers to enhance my composition in a no-brainer wayI brought over the spatters, artstroke, texture, paint, and stain layers. While I was pirating things, I grabbed one of my fave Fotoglos, from Multimedia Birds #1 https://www.oscraps.com/shop/MultiMedia-Birds-No.-1.html , and dropped that over and behind my photo to increase the brightness of the middle of the canyon. I finished up with embellishments and by stamping on a bunch of brushes from the Artplay Palette.
