Loved this week's inspiration from Helene. Just saw an exhibit of a local artist, Joseph P. Hammer, at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. He uses discarded books for his collagesthis one was mainly made from old college textbooks. (Bought a postcard and scanned it for this art.)

Process notes:
Because this artist uses discarded books for his collages, I went with a book theme. I used SolidPaper No. 2 from the APP He as my background. I placed my photo and used a brush from the APP as a mask. Framed the masked photo with the frame from He. Used transfers from APP HE and the aA part of the O collab Bookish, added them around and under the masked art. Stamped in brushes from BookTextures No. 1 and NoteBook No. 3continuing the theme. Urban Stitchez and the text stamp were the final touches.
