Loved this week's inspiration layout by Nancy. This is one of my cousin's photos of our long ago cousins. (My sister kinda looks like the girl on the left.)

Process notes:
This is a lift of layout I found in the gallery archives. It had a frame with a family seemingly to walk out of it. It was amazing, so I had to lift it. Sorry, cant remember who did it. I used ArtsyPaper No. 1 as my background. I placed my frame element and my photo in the center of the page. I masked out most of the background on the photo, leaving the children. It needed some definition, so I added a few transfers behind the frame and under the cousins. Also duplicated the photo and ghosted it behind the kids for a slightly spooky touch. I wanted to make the photo black and white for additional contrast, so I added an B/W adjustment layer. Only I forgot to clip it to the photo and it turned the entire layout black and white. I decided that I really like it that way, so I left it alone. Added a few splatters and wordART as the final accents.
