I am not a beach person. I have fair skin, sunburned very easily even when slathered in sunscreen and every sand flea on the beach thinks I am dessert. But Anna's new ArtPlay Palette Surf's Up with its beachy vibe reminded me of a wonderful beach holiday in Cancunmy best friend's daughter had her destination wedding there. Even though I spent most of the day in a hammock under a palm tree reading a book and drinking fruity, adult beverages, it was a fabulous and fun time. We stayed in a casita right on the beach. This night owl even woke up early every morning to see the glorious sunrise over the beach. (Of course, that was my excuse for taking a long siesta later in the day.) Oh, and in the afternoon someone would stroll around the resort with freshly made coconut/pineapple ice cream. Big sigh, after a week of rainy, gloomy days, I'm day dreaming of Cancun again. So, if you have similar photos of a beach vacation, relive it again with this new APP.

Process notes:
I used SolidPaper No. 5 as my background. I placed my photo and a FotoBlendz mask, clipped them together. Added two transfers from the kit under the masked photo to simulate sand. Also added two transfers from APP Wonderful on the right-side to bring in more color. Brushed in a few palms from the new Palm brushset. Also added a some clouds to compliment the landscape. Created a cluster of wordART and an element as the final touch.
