I blended my photo into the background (Artsy Paper #1) with inverted masking, and positioned the chick, which is actually a combination of two chicks from the set (#1 and #2). The wordART and journaling came next, and then, after pumping up the background with brushes, transfers, and overlays, I had some fun with three of the frames in the FreeForm Frame set, recoloring the largest a deep brown. I also duplicated the forsythia blossom from the brance and changed its color from yellow to orange with a hue/saturation adjustment layer, just to balance out all of that glorious yellow.
