March Crocus

The spring crocus are some of my favorite spring flowers...they are dainty, and the ones here are light purple.

Process:

AASPN Scenic Solid paper 5 was placed on a new background. Artsy Transfer Scenic4 was placed and sized, and my photo was placed above the paint green of the transfer and clipped, duplicating photo twice (the first copy was set to Multiply blend mode, the second copy was set to Multiply blend mode and a smart blur was added).
Artsy Transfer Scenic 3 was placed on the edge with levels adjustment and darken blend mode at 90%. AT 5 and 8 were placed beneath the photo layers. Brushes, splatters and spackled textures were placed around the photo and edges. Last the cluster of elements was placed, scripttease spring text, acrylic spring and distressed edges.

Thanks for looking.Bev
Absolutely beautiful - gorgeous blending, thanks for all the details on how it was done, but I doubt I could duplicate it in a million years.

This is great! I had such a hard time making a page about my spring crocus. You rocked it.
