Process...
I started with ArtsyPaper No.2 from the mini palette. I added the photo on a layer above the paper and set it to darken. On a new layer above the photo and the artsypaper, using a solid round brush, I created a white circle and set it to Darken. I added an inner shadow to the circle to get the recessed look, then added the taped textures around the circle, masking out any part that covered the photo. I had to add a hue/saturation adjustment layer over the taped textures to get them to be the turquoise color, rather than gray. I added the fishing pole and desaturated it using another hue/saturation adjustment layer. The mermaid is from a retired APP. I added some additional brushes and transfers from the mini palette, placed the title and journaling, and called it done.
