Monarch

After a week of gloomy, foggy days, I need some sunshine in my life. So I went look for some bright flower photos in my stash, but discovered these butterfly photos. Austin is on the migration path for the Monarch butterflies. I was lucky enough to capture these photos of the butterflies on a bush outside my front door. I only had my iPad with me, but I though these snaps turned out okay. Anyway, looking at these helped brighten my day.

Supplies:
WaterColor Template Album No. 5 *New & On Sale*

Process notes:
A quick and easy design using the spiffy, new watercolor templates. I used SolidPaper No. 2 from APP Brumal as my background. I enlarged the big blended photo so you could see more of the butterfly photo. Clipped my photos to the masks. Recolored some of the stains to better match the color palette. Monarch wordART was created using another monarch photo and clipping it to the large text and adding a few more words.

Thanks so much for looking.
We were spoilt the last two weeks were like Spring for us, then it turned cold and windy again.....love how you put this layout together and how you blended part of your picture into the title work.

Nous aussi nous avons besoin d'un peu de soleil, j'aime votre page elle est lumineuse, j'ai vu un film sur la migration de ces papillons, c'est impressionnant .
