Process
I used a solid paper as my background layer, I dragged photo onto the paper and enlarged it to fit the width of the canvas. I used a colour burn blending mode on the image and using the the inverted mask technique brushed back in only the parts of the photo i wanted to use. I duplicated the image twice more using a soft light blending mode on each layer. I used transfers from the palette to add texture in the sky and, added some birds. using brushes from the palette I stamped texture underneath the boat added stitching a button and WordART .
