I was so excited when I spotted this image on a group that I facebook follow featuring my growing up home-town. Made me wish to be a time traveler, at least for a few days or weeks.
Love the soft colors you incorporated into your design. I'd like to go back and stand beside the steam train that sat on the track when I was walking home from school.
I wouldn't have thought of these colors for a heritage-type page but they sure pack a wallop. Brilliant choice! The little bits of texture are perfectly placed, too.
I often wish I could travel back in time to when life was simpler, calmer even, to visit the high street in my home town before it was blighted by the planners in the sixties and was still a bustling little street with the original buildings and busy shops - drapers, butchers etc. Love a bit of nostalgia and the colours in your page are just delicious, soft and dreamy!
