Journaling: Stephen loves to smile. I have so many photos of him and, regardless of age, he is smiling in almost all of them. This day was no different. His brother was playing football, and we were there to watch the game. Stephen, who would much rather sit and read a book than play football, was sitting and doing just that. Both his father and I had our cameras and every so often, we would call to him to look up and smile. He was always ready to oblige. These are the most precious memories.
