After getting my oil changed last weekend, I took a drive to a nearby Marina, and in the parking lot I was delighted to see these two gorgeous classic automobiles. The owners were sitting in the drivers seats, talking to each other through the open windows, and enjoying the beautiful day. I couldnt help but snap this shot, and think about my dad who had a major love for cars, and took much pleasure working on them in his spare time. The Process: I am not a person that typically uses a dark background in a layout, but with this weeks gorgeous AnnaLift page, I was determined to do so. I began with the wrinkled paper from ArtPlay Solids Wicked, and added the fotoblendz, and attached my photograph to it. I added two frames, but masked the right half out of one, and the left half out of the other. Underneath the photo and frames I added another fotomask and used blend mode Divide, and reduced its opacity. I added the gold paint, dripped stains, also using blend mode Divide, and reduced their opacity as well. I added the black corner brushes, to accentuate the frame, and added the edge overlay, again using the blend mode Divide, and reducing its opacity. I added the Boxed ArtStroke, and made it white by using blend mode Divide, and added the title and date. I added the faint blue and white stars transfer to the lower right, and the blue flower to the right bottom of the frame, and then I added the WordArt, but masked out the background so that when added to the photograph, it gave a faint hint of text.
