Lance usually spends Christmas Day on the road, as a long haul trucker, preferring to spend New Year's at home in WA. This year we were excited as his route would bring him here, so we could spend Christmas evening together. Something we haven't been able to do for many years. It was all working out well, until Christmas morning, when a severe blizzard hit a large part of the country. He was stuck at the truck stop (thankfully, not in a snow bank) in Fargo, ND for two days. What a joy it was to finally get together, for dinner on Sunday evening, December 27th to celebrate Christmas together, Lance, Jerry and I.
