The 80’s were hard years for us as we were raising 4 kids on one income. Jessica was born on January 2, 1980 and Nathanael was born June 20, 1985 with Michael and Elisabeth coming in between. Our Christmases were sparse gift-wise, but the grandparents always gave them more than necessary...at Christmas and throughout the year.
The year this picture was taken was particularly rough. Tim was hired as assistant to the pastor of the Addyston Baptist Church in Addyston, Ohio. We had moved from Kentucky to Cleves, Ohio in June 1983. Elisabeth was born in September. We moved to Addyston in the fall. The owners sold the house this picture was taken in and we found ourselves moving again to Western Hills sometime after the first of the year in 1984. Thank the Lord for His provision!
