This is such a lovely kit to use for everything from Valentine's day to

everday moments you want to capture. I wanted to scrap this memory of

making a cake with my daughter - using a recipe she came up with on her

own! TFL!

Journaling:
Emmelia made up this recipe as part of a Mother's Day present when she was

in Pre-kindergarten. She wanted to try it out to see how well it worked.
We finally got around to trying the recipe and found it made a

recognizable cake (pretty neat!) that was fairly dry and hard... next time

Emmelia wants to modify the recipe to include baking powder and
another egg and less Splenda. I was struck by how she included Splenda -

I guess her Papa's diabetes has impacted her thinking on diet more than we

might have imagined.
