This Christmas has been full of fun so far... Its my favorite holiday, and I love to make it last for as long as possible! Our advent calendar is an old favorite, but this year ive been putting little clues in it so the girls have to find their treats. Christmas music makes us so happy! Our favorite song is #3 on the Enya CD. A couple weeks ago, I found antlers and a red nose to decorate the van with, and it just makes me happy to drive around town! Ive been reading Ezekiel 36:26-28 in the mornings- theyre an awesome reminder of how God changed my life by being born! The elf on the shelf is a new tradition, and hes been extremely entertaining! The girls say and do the cutest things with him!! Our first snow arrived the other day, bringing lots of screaming and excitement! And, the tiny homemade ornaments on the girls Jessie Trees are so cute! We read a Bible story each night and make an ornament that reminds us about it... The last one will be about Christs birth... Each of these fun things is special because of my amazing little family and God! Im so thankful and happy that I get to enjoy Christmas with them!! Ive never had such a happy Christmas, and its not even here yet! Dec. 2009
