Making hats for charity probably is my favorite kind of project when it comes to crafts. It's quick and you don't need that much yarn. Perfect way to use up all the scrap yarn from bigger projects. Easy to bring along in a small bag, wherever you're going. Also, it sort of doesn't matter exactly how big it turns out to be, it will always fit someone's head. I make hats for both adults, children and babies, all depending on how much yarn there is. My favorite patterns are Päppelmössan, Karlchen and Basic Striped Beanie.
