Journaling reads:
I have reached the stage in life where I am clearing things away, not acquiring more things.
So I have reached a place of contentment, at least in the material sense.
Now I wish for that kind of contentment in the minds of my children and grandchildren. I pray they will arrive at that point early in their lives.
We all learn over and over that things never satisfy the soul. I pray the lesson will stick with them sooner than it did for me.
