Process: Inspired by the numbers, I began thinking about some of my own numbers. The photo is a selfie, taken today with my fuji and an app on my phone. I dragged a frame from ALT 174, clipped my photo to the mask and converted the photo to black and white. I also clipped AP Anew transfer_6 and glow_8 to the frame mask just above the photo and masked out enough to show the photo. Then I began building the background with layers of paint, brushes, splatters, overlays and transfers. I attached layer masks and blended as needed to get the look I wanted. I tacked down the frame with urban stitches and threads. For journaling, I wrote a list of the numbers Im celebrating as this year ends. I used a glitter style on 2014, clipped some gold paint to it and added a levels adjustment layer to get it close to the color of the glitter in AP Anew.
