This is the town of Andrew Carnegie, not the American town, but the town of his birth. We have a Carnegie College, a Carnegie Museum, a Carnegie swimming pool and a Carnegie Music Institute.
But, most importantly, we have a Carnegie Trust which supports the schools (to a limited extent) and gives prizes each year to the children of Dunfermline.
