Continuing documentation of our annual family getaway and our boat trip out to Monomoy Island to check out the seals. In the spirit of “you can always fit in another photo,” I pirated the circle frame from FotoInspired Templates Collection 3B to fit in my last couples photo. This is where incorporating videos comes in handy, as all the seal photos looked mostly the same—like black beach balls in the water, or views of the recumbant seals from a slew of different angles. As predicted when I started this project, the speed bump now is making the pages look special--the batching of the spreads is almost done, and sometimes it's frustratingly hard, as it was on this spread, where there are more photos than I think I have ever used before, to go back and elevate the layout visually. My big move was placing a seagull down the centerline to anchor the yellow I wanted to use around the edges, which mostly come from transfers from the Sol Artplay Palette over a solid background.
