I love the embellishments in this miniPalette, so that's where I started...with the birdhouse and the deer ornament. I clipped my photo and several duplicates of it to various transfers and overlays from the Palette, using different blending modes to find the look I like best. From there I filled in the background with more transfers and overlays and a little brushwork, and also repeated the deer ornament in a couple of other spots. To texturize, I dragged in Solid Paper #1 to the top of the layer stack on multiply blend mode. A little journaling, and my reflection was done.

I'm right there with you Laura! I love reflecting at Christmas time, with soft lights in the room and nice warm drink. This is gorgeously assembled...love all the clipping to transfer work you added. The treehouse is the "bees knees" so to say.

I had Wednesday off work and had decided to treat myself to starbucks. I sat in front of one of the windows and sipped my Peppermint Mocca and ate my scone. It was one of the more relaxing things I've done since my vacation. I just loved how you documented your moment....
