I started making year-in-review calendars the year my daughter was born, so this will be my fourth. At first, I only made two - one for my mom and my mother-in-law. It has since progressed to the point where I make three different versions with several copies of each (depending on which branch of the family you're in). So, for the January 2010 calendar page, there are pictures from January 2009. It's amazing to see how much kids change.
You can check out previous versions on my blog, http://craftiejessie.blogspot.com, but this is the first one where I used digital scrapbooking items that I didn't create myself. I was inspired by a set of CT layouts for Kitty Chen's Piece of Beauty kit and just went from there ... (they are amazingly talented ladies!)
This year, my theme was 'Celebrate Family'. I therefore chose to highlight a member of the family for each month and put a little collage of other pictures from that month as an accent.
I chose not to go far from the immediate family on my side, because there are so many of them, but I did each of my siblings, my kids and my husband and I. I did the same for my husband's family and with my family, my mother-in-law's and my father-in-law's, I have 33 individual graphics for 36 months (3 different versions of a calendar).
I don't know why, but when I laid each calendar out, I switched the months, so for instance, my daughter is February on one calendar and November on another. This was an added complication that I should have forseen and avoided ... but, it's done now.

I used primarily Kitty Design's 'Piece of Beauty' and 'Sonata of the Heart' kits and a label from Sue Cummings for the month and year label. Most of the frames I used are part of a group from kfredericks and then I put some groups together and added some more ... individual ones are from Sue Cummings and TaylorMade Designs. Every layout is 100% Oscraps

This particular layout highlights my sister, Abby. All the little photos are from September and only of my children and a few of my siblings ...
