Bygone Days

Journaling: In my eyes as a child, Aunt Bette was a glamour girl. In fact, I said aunt in the northeastern fashion, with the ahnt sound. She was classy in an eclectic sort of way, and well-spoken. And, she married a brilliant man, Uncle Roger. He walked with a limp, a kind of hitch, which, I believe, was due to scoliosis.. For a very long time, they had no children. Perhaps that is why we always got special Christmas presents from them. They eventually had a daughter, Susan, my cousin.
