Instructions:
Edited Pexel Photo - removed the long over the shoulder bag with clone stamps and PSE mask; then flippedcopy of photo underneath it and enlarged it to fill in the masked area; flattened the two layers and cropped the photo to finished size. Placed photo on new page and duplicated the photo twice. { Note: bottom layer is there in case I mess up when adding filters.} Hide top layer. On middle photo layer applied the PSE Filter -> texturizer. Open top layer and applied the PSE change to Black and White action. Then applied the Filter -> Sketch -> Chrome action and reduced effect for a softer look. On top photo layer reduced the opacity down to about 70% so that some of the color and texture on the middle photo was showing through. Link all layers together.
Place tan paper on new blank page. Work the rest of the layout on this base. I add shadows as I go along.
Photo frame mask - clipped a tan paper to it and resized the paper so it was just small enough so that the black frame was visible. Placed the treated photo on top of masked frame and paper so that the photo fit inside and next to right side of frame. Added small black stroke around photo. Added lantern to the left side of masked frame and duplicated lantern. On bottom lantern layer, simplified it, locked pixels and used paint bucket to add some light orange color here and there. Reduced the opacity to about 60% on top grey lantern layer so that the color in the lower lantern showed through but still retained the lines of lantern. Simplified masked frame then place orange light underneath the lantern on the left side... erased some of masked paper so that part of the light was showing through under the lantern. Added 3/4 round frame to round flair.

Reduce strips/gold edge element; duplicate it and line them up in a long row; link them together and place near left edge of page. Add black/gold paper on top with edge of paper lined up so only gold edge of above elements are showing. Simplify these layers - crop page to 12X12 size.Add orange flowers to bird/branch element and link them together. Duplicate and reduce size and place small one on top of black/gold paper. Place as shown. Add other elements as shown.
