My boys in 2000 and again when each is about 17 - they are 5/12 years apart - so about 2010 for the eldest on the left and about 2016 for the youngest. They have many interests in common but are polar opposites in temperament and life goals. The border is intended to represent the journey from childhood to young adulthood.

This was a totally fun LO and relatively straightforward. After laying down the background paper, I clipped several of the other papers to the various pant and tape layers of the template and adjusted the color on some of the transfers to be in keeping with the kit collection. Then I rotated and re-positioned the bottom two photo masks and frames, clipped on the photos and played with various kit elements to create the border. Next, I added stains and stamps behind the bordered - the circle stamp at top left is between paint layers so it appears gold. Lastly, I came up to the top layer and added word art.
