Blackhall Mountain, elevation 10,974ft,
in the Medicine Bow National Forest, is at the top of
one of the highest mountain roads in Wyoming.
Blackhall Mountain Road is gravel, rocky, and tippy,
and is usually impassable from October to June.
At the summit is a fire tower, built in the early 1960s.
Sedum Lanceolatum, Yellow Stonecrop
Plants > Wildflowers > Crassulaceae > Sedum Lanceolatum
Height: Up to 7 inches
Habitat: Open, rocky, dry locations in mountainous areas.

Journaling:
It was mostly windy all day. Not a cloud in the clear blue sky, and it cooled off quickly before sunset.
what great little sedums -- interesting how everything has it's own special place to nourish and grow. beautiful LO
