black mountain hills of dakota

for this month's lyric challenge https://ozone.oscraps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31710
you have to choose a song by the Beatles, include the song title and some of the lyrics.
this is from Rocky Raccoon.
"Now somewhere in the black mountain hills of Dakota
There lived a young boy named Rocky Raccoon
And one day his woman ran off with another guy
Hit young Rocky in the eye Rocky didn't like that
He said I'm gonna get that boy
So one day he walked into town
Booked himself a room in the local saloon..."
My song title is hidden in the mountains. it's set to divide, reduced opacity and reversed ;--) but i think it still meets the challenge requirements.

process...
originally, i was thinking about what could be done with these brushes so they are not in black. i sometimes forget that there are other ways to use the brushes ;-) ... i wanted to see what brush no.3 would look like if i played around with a gradient overlay. i picked a purple to orange and used a radial gradient. that worked pretty well but then, to that, i added the ps embossing fx. i liked how that gave the image more depth. then i added some of the taped textures and to make sure the image made sense with the lyrics i decided to use some heavy black brushes from the different strokes series. i framed it and it was done.

Thanks for looking :)
You are way too talented and imaginative. Love how the gorgeous art looks set into a big frame.

You always amaze me! What a beautiful piece of art! Love it all! Thanks for playing!!!

Nicely done and explained... I always gain interesting details when I read your processes.

This is exactly how my memories see the mountains out west! Thanks for showing what can be done with just brushes. Such creativity! glorious!
