This picture is from my 41st Birthday. My parents were in town - we didn't do anything super special other than togetherness. This picture was taken as we were all leaving to take them to the airport - and just a few days later 9-11 happened. I was so thankful that they had been home safe for a day or so. This particular picture was my dad's favorite. He carried a copy of it in his wallet - and when he died in 2007 it was still there.

Oh Amy, what a wonderful layout. I love the story that goes with it and how special to have your dad carry that photo in his wallet. Love the way you journaled on the ribbons.
