Journaling: This Thanksgiving was an adventure for me. My daughter invited me to come to Spokane to her in-laws and join in the fun. Four days of fun, in fact. Coming from a small family whos holidays were intimate, quiet and cozy, being thrown into the midst of a large familys energy, was something completely different. Aunts, Uncles and cousins, oh my!
My hat is off to Dale and Winnie for hosting this robust crowd in their beautiful home and welcoming me with open arms. Delicious appetizers and wonderful wine followed later by the gorgeous Thanksgiving dinner. Incredible amount of work! Jackie and I washed the dishes afterwards so Winnie could relax a bit, if that was possible. Dale started up the karaoke and some Christmas songs were sung, with little Kylie giving a helping hand with the mike.

Notes: Going with Annas first day prompt, I opened the first page of the album and brought in the photos and clipped them to the various masks. I recolored the stains using colors from the main photo and eliminated a part of the hipster plume that didnt work for me and recolored the rest. No blending was added to the photos or masks.
Underneath these layers I brought in a transfers under the main photo at the left and added the architectures under the journaling which I had pasted into the text boxes. Snuggling in the title word art, I used a style on it. The leaf was added underneath the top photo and blended. I also clipped a transfer to the number and blended and gave it drop shadow. Underneath and over the number I placed a button and anchored the layers with a button thread. Below and above are dimensional elements from the kit and MM Autumn.
The png MM Autumn was placed at the bottom right with the acorns from the kit added. Paper texture brush is at the top and the word art transfer is at the left of the two photos. Labels were placed to finish the page.
