Journaling: I have never been a fan of cactus. Im not sure why; perhaps I never had much exposure. However, when I came across the cactus garden at the Florida Botanic Gardens last month, it really did make me stop in my tracks. I found myself drawn to the minute details of the plants, how one leaf had so much texture. I spent a while examining these little beauties and then wandered off again. Its when I kept coming back to the photos that I realized I was beginning to understand their beauty. Now I cant wait to go back and see what is new and blooming! April, 2017
