Process
This page was created using just the brushes from ArtPlay palette Artsy.

Each brush was stamped on its own layer and various blending modes applied.

Overlapping the brushes and adding for example a Colour Burn blending mode gives a great painty opaque look.

Another technique employed was clipping a brush layer to another brush layer to create a frame around the title.

Using brush techniques to create a title can create an interesting effect, I typed the word Artsy using a good blocky font (Old Press) then clipped a brush to it ( the brush was set at Linear Burn Blending Mode) then I added an overemphasised drop shadow the duplicated the layer.

To add texture I chose a brush that had a raised painty textured effect this gave a more textured look in complementary colours resizing and changing the direction by using brush settings.

I added a definition and highlighted it by adding a brush layer underneath.

Using funky fonts and clipping brush layers to each letter added a fun look.

Artstrokes are a good way to add some dimension amongst the heavy blocks of colour

I used just a few embellishments to add interest.
