BE ART
In honor of NSD
Well, as you can see, I went a little wild with this one, in my dreams, a painter! (A sign of early dementia, perhaps??? Hee hee!) Several members of my family are actually quite talented in this realm, my sister Carolyn, paintings that come to life before your eyes, folds, lace, velvet, faces, done mostly in oils. My little sister, Allyson, has recently rekindled her love of drawing and is pretty good! My neice, has just discovered that she has inherited her mothers talent and even her first drawing, done in colored pencils, no less, of a Middle Eastern girl, dressed in layers of colorful saris, is amazing, even the layer of material with Indian ink, looks like it does in life, slightly smeared and lastly my daughter Jocelyn is quite good with charcoals. Someday Ill take pictures of some of their work, and I guarantee youll be amazed. The even have an art day once a week. I participated once and my little masterpiece, ended up crumbed in the trash! My father always taught us to appreciate all art and I think thats where I belongan appreciator! They need us, right? Anywhooonote the picture done my Modigliani, my favorite, Lady in a Black Cravat. It, along with several other PRINTS hangs on my office walls and a couple at home.
