For my Southwest travel album. The photo treatment was a happy accident. I added the photo to the Artsy Paper on multiply mode, for blending, and when I attempted to add an inverted mask, I was prompted to simplify the layer. It's a glitch in the program that when you do this, your photo will turn neon, but I went ahead anyway and was surprised that I liked what I saw. The color matches the turquoise theme that runs throughout the album. In real life, the Barrio's door is red, and the face that is superimposed on that door in the layout is actually from a mural that's on an adjoining wall. So this rendering of the building is truly a figment of my imagination. Once I had the photo blended, I added the framed photo of my husband with the tequila list, the floating frame, the restaurant review, the title, and a few odds and ends to finish up.
