Internet birds
This is the second page in my Alphabet Book of Reflections, which I'm doing as part of the aA Project 2016 class. Part of the challenge of doing an album on reflections is knowing that, with far-ranging topics and images, nothing much is going to match. The only unity throughout this project is going to be provided by the style of the template album (I am using the pages in order) and my journaling. Very glad the album is stylish!
Still, there are a few things I'm learning I can do to make the pages work together. For example, I used the big repeating compasses across the spread (pages 2 and 3) as a visual reference to the three metal mason jar tops that are on the previous page just so that when you turn the page, there would be some connectionmetal and roundness.
As far as practicalities go, I used the template pretty much as is, removing some frames and enlarging the text boxes. I also expanded the Fotoblendz to show more of the willow tree.
