When I saw Anne-Marie's challenge, I had to make a Card commemorating my granddaughter's benign results from her surgery. When she first got pregnant, they found a "mass" on her right ovary. The doctors weren't sure what it was or how they were going to deal with it. They sent her to a Prenatal Oncologist in a major city about an hour and a half away. That was frightening in itself - we didn't even know they had "Prenatal Oncologists". This doctor has been sending one of his associates here once a month to measure the mass and it had not grown, which was a good sign.
The plan was, if all went well, to let Ava deliver her baby, then come back in after a few weeks and they would remove the mass, laparoscopically. Everything went according to plan and she had the surgery and the mass was BENIGN!!! What a relief that was - it had been a big black cloud hanging over her entire pregnancy.
