August AJ Challenge Week 1

Our word prompt for August is Serenity. I used a synonym, Calmness. I'm searching for Serenity, but along the way, I'll settle for calmness. I decided to use Ona's Divided Template this month and this is my week 1 for August.

Beautifully crafted. I really like the way they angel is looking at her charge - at least she feels like a guardian angel to me! Wonderful use of the word art!

Thanks, Susan. She is definitely a guardian angel. I loved the way she was looking down at the figure. I wish they'd had a man angel, though. :heartpumpred: :heartpumpred:

This is stunning. The calm of the layout yet I still see the struggle searching for the calm. The wings you add to your layouts gets me every time. :heartpumppink: The longing on her face. Oh Cheryl this is so stunning and I am at a loss for words, which I see a bunch here but they dont convey how moving this really is. So soft and strong. :hug3:

It is a powerful word, that's for sure. I know that I sometimes forget to breathe - as strange as that may sound. Thanks for the virtual hug and thanks for designing kits that are perfect for my " Grief Journal". I sincerely hope my journey has helped others. :heartpumpred: :heartpumpred:

Tracy, as usual, you "get" my page and what the meaning behind it is. I decided to put wings (or the semblance of wings) on my pages and probably missed a couple of them. They're so significant to me and I knew that Chuck is looking down at me and helping me. I LOVE your beautiful and meaningful comments so much. :heartpumpred::heartpumpred::heartpumpred:
