This is my entry for Challenge #1. I need to learn how to use my digital camera. Journaling reads:

"I keep saying I need a Digital Rebel, or any DSLR. But I use the auto settings on the camera I have over 90% of the time. I cant see spending close to $1,000 on a camera when I wont even know how to use it. So my goal this year is to learn how to use the camera I have; learn how to use the manual settings to get better pictures. Its so bad, that I had to download a stock photo for this layout because all the pictures I took were too dark, too blurry, or just generally unacceptable. As a digital scrapbooker, nee, a digital designer, I have no excuse! Ernie bought me a book on taking better digital pictures for Christmas. I found the cameras manual. I have the tools, now I must conquer the beast!"
