I create a composite from two different images, one was the flowers base and another image from a similar flowers in a larger scale was the other.
I treated both images with watercolor techniques.
I duplicated at times the layers to achieve further intensity in the colors.
I also used Anna's brushes to create shadows were needed around the flower base.
I changed during the process the opacity, scale and direction of the brush,
always using the same brush with large surface and well defined edges.
