I extracted the sitting lady from the photo and then I run several artistic filters through it by Topaz Impression and the Artistic filters from photoshop. When I got the look I was after I gave the extraction a dark sepia color.
I opened a new file and and I placed my lady in it.
I placed a backgroundlayer, and then I started building on it with some brushes and transfers. Some were duplicated for more texture effect, and set to Multiply Blendmode. I sometimes use not all of the transfers and brushes, I blend only the parts in that I wanted to use by a layermask. I gave the brushes from ArchiTextures No. 1 a bevel too.
I placed the elements. The frame was blended in with a layermask too.
After the merging of the layers I did some Dodge and Burning work and I sharpened the page a little.
