Always a nice surprise when a new species arrives in your garden, isn't it?
Love the big swirl, the use of the mask and the photo of the back of this bird in the frame is a nice detail.

I like how you journaled this story. He is very handsome and, for me, it's interesting to see birds near ice/snow. Beautifully done.

Wonderful photos! Love the masking of the one in the background and the framing of the smaller photo!

I'm not familiar with those birds so I enjoyed seeing your wonderful photos. I try to photograph the water birds near us but it's usually hard to get a good picture before they fly away. Yours are great! I like your circular framing and the addition of the little postage stamp.
