I used the Threshold on my photo ( Image-Adjustments-Threshold)
I placed the original photo in black and white and the one with Threshold on it in a new document. I placed a solid paper. I placed Brushes and Artsy Bits all in different Blendmodes under and over the photolayers. I used Layermasks to blend only parts in that I wanted. I placed the Word Art. I made a double stroke around the merged layers. I did some sharpening and Dodge and Burn work. And then my last step I blended another solid paper over the whole layout!
