From his first Christmas onward, our DS, Andy, got a Raggedy Andy ornament for the Christmas tree. When he started a family of his own, the collection went with him, and they are still lovingly placed on his tree. This year will mark the 40th year for his first ornament.

What a sweet story, love the tradition as I sewed a Raggedy Ann and Andy for my kids when they were little and my grandchildren have them now:)

Linda, I not only sewed at least one Raggedy Andy, but a Raggedy Ann also, which he gave to his high school sweetheart--with "I Love You" on her heart. They didn't marry, and she returned it when they broke up. I think Ann ended up with one of my granddaughters.
