This crazy interesting photo was taken in Dallas in the early fifties at a grocery store opening. The little girl with the white gloves petting the lion is my friend's aunt. Apparently, her Dad owned a chain of grocery stores and showcased the lion at promotional events. Wow, times have changednot one adult is paying attention to the children with a wild animal! Now, that's crazy!
