For this week's annaLift, a tribute to George Orwell's book 1984

Process:
Following the steps in Suzie's excellent tutorial http://www.annaaspnesdesigns.com/blending-artsytransfers-in-adobe-photoshop-video-tutorial, I created a background of Artsy Transfers over a solid paper from the Artplay Palette. I added the imagery and frame, duplicating twice and inserting texture and words in between and on top of the photo layers, on various blending modes and cleaning up overlaps by masking away stray bits and pieces. For depth, I used a drop shadow on two of the photo duplicates. I distressed the background paper by overlaying texture on multiply and scratching away random areas with a distressing brush. I completed the layout with a distressed tone-on-tone title, the buttons and Threadz, and the quote from George Orwell's book 1984.
