It was little more than a silhouette and I knew it had to be a hummingbird because what else would make a lump like that on that shady tree branch so far away from where I was sitting. But once we figured out how to set the zillions of options how I need them to be, I liked that camera a lot.
Absolutely fabulous work. And yeah, the hummer silhouette is pretty unmistakable. I am down on hummers at the moment because there's a ruby-throat male who dive bombs me every time I set foot on my deck. "Who do you think gives you all these flowers and fills your feeder," I mutter as he comes maybe 1/2 inch from my body.
The think about your pages (okay, one thing) is the diversity. Love that some are more about photos, some have an artsy flair, and there are the totally unexpected ones. Makes for a heck of a book at the end of the year.
