Journaling:
Dozens of little butterflies were in the middle of the road. They were excited and always in motion. When we drove over them they flew up but immediately returned to their nourishing streamlet in the road.

We're still on a trip and I haven't been able to keep up. I do go through my photos and try to scrap a few during rest breaks, so this challenge was perfect. I'm hoping to start catching up later today.

The photo with the butterflys is so beautiful, I love the colors youve used and the butterfly with the swirl on the left side, a great take on the challenge!

I've only ever seen them 'puddling' once and wondered what it was all about. They transfer the salts they are absorbing to the female when mating which provides nutrition for the eggs. Love that you brought back a memory. Nature is amazing.

oh this is cool and perfectly colored! I've seen butterflies that behave like this in the Sierras, but they were blue. Must be a shared habit. I wish there was a way to scrap better on the go, been thinking about that a lot lately :)
