AnnaLift 6-4 Long Distance

Just a journal page about adjusting to the new long distance relationship with my kids and granddog.

There were so many elements in Lynn's page that I loved and lifted...map and compass, text texture, monochrome. I also reduced the color on the photos (easy with a black and white dog :))

Long distance is HARD. I often find myself being thankful for technology. Also memory-keeping and story-telling, which somehow always make me feel closer. Lovely spread--and fitting that Cher is busting outta that frame in eagerness to see her Grandma soon!

Ah yes long distance! It doesn't get much longer than 12,000kms which is what I have. It does get easier though. It's the stuff you used to do with them and special occasions but eventually you do get used to it and when you see them you have more to speak about, more happier times and a wonderful new kind of relationship unfolds.
