Over 30,000 tundra swans begin to arrive in mid-October and stay through December.
Journaling:
Even with more than 12,000 tundra swans on the refuge, none were visible from the refuge road. Remember how thrilled we were when we finally found some in a Wildlife Management Area west of Corinne.
